In the early 1990s, the company transitioned from IGA to the Piggly Wiggly banner. Today, Kevin and Cody McDaniel carry that same commitment forward across all Piggly Wiggly Food For Less stores in North Florida, Alabama, and South Georgia.
Every product in every Piggly Wiggly Food For Less store is priced at our Cost + 10%. The price on the shelf is our actual cost for that product. At the register, 10% is added. That covers our costs of doing business. What you will never see is a marked-up shelf price or a fake sale. State food tax may also apply where required by your state.
We price this way because we believe you deserve to know exactly what you are paying and why. That kind of honesty is not a marketing strategy. It is a family value.
